that's one thing about the internet, you just never know. anybody could be anybody. elements of trust and faith have to develop. it really takes relationships to a whole new level. at least for people like me who didn't grow up with the internet. everything was face to face. this is all new to me.

that tree was a choke cherry. that saw judging by the color would be my mcculloch. I also have a husqvarna and a stihl. Today I took down a fairly large choke cherry, about 20" diameter. big for those trees. three maples and two ashe. 3 of those 5 hung up on me but a wicked wind, rain and hail storm brough 2 of them all the way down. one is still hanging. I'll have to winch it down this weeked. I'll also pull the other rounds up from the woods closer to the house with the tractor this weekend. Ther i'll cut them into 16" pieces and stack them. I'll start splitting late Sept.

What's protective wear?
