Movie Time

Grand Torino is an excellent movie.

LOVED it..... clint played an amazing character.... like my grandfather. tooooo funny. (the comparison, not the movie). it should have been nominated for oscar stuff.

I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I saw a cool Clint movie not long ago called Bloodwork.

Unforgiven was a great one too.

we spent three classes on Unforgiven in a film class on directing in college...... really an awesome movie.... the pull and resistance of the character back to his 'natural state' is amazing. we actually wound up watching the movie 4 times in all.

With the exception of the chimp movies, which weren't bad but nothing special, he has yet to make a crappy movie. I don't have one favorite, but a few that I really liked were Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby, In The Line of Fire, and Space Cowboys, but then I really love James Garner and Tommy Lee Jones, too. Not real crazy for Donald Sutherland, even tho he's a great actor.

Did you ever hear the duet he sang with Merle Haggard called Bar Room Buddies ?

That was done about the time he did the ape movies.

Yeah....Burt and Jerry sure sold a lot of CB radios. Just like Clint got Smith & Wesson 44 Magnums moving off dealer's shelves.

I might go to the theater sometime this weekend to see "The Watchmen," haven't seen any reviews yet but the comic books were great stuff.
