Sherlock Holmes

ok... so we were on our way to see avatar and it was sold out... we ran out of gas and were late, so it was sold out, but i digress... we went to see sherlock holmes with robert downey jr, jude law and rachel mcadams instead.

it was fun, funny, exciting, and well worth the price of admission.... veryvery cool. i would have picked a better director, but all in all, it was a really good flick.

Loved Robert Downey Jr. in "US Marshals" & "Iron Man." Can't think of a better actor to play any of these parts including Holmes. I think he's always been a pretty good actor but he's getting better.

He is one of the ones. Most of his early roles I've seen him play were drug addled characters... I think to some extent the poppyratzis were playing into that... but I don't really know much about his personal history

I loved Rodney. One of his best movies was Easy Money - absolutely hysterical.

He did make that one dark movie - Natural Born Killers with Woody Harrelson and Juliet Lewis - he played her abusive father. Kinda freaky for ole Rodney, but he was very convincing.

and he was great in it. so out of character for him. So many people get type cast. like david schwimmer. no matter what he does for the rest of his life, he is ross. Rodney played a role that was completely out of his type casting and did it great.
