| here's a fun Where's Waldo A Republican plan to extend Bush era tax cuts for the rich would add more than $36 billion to the federal deficit next year -- and transfer the bulk of that cash into the pockets of the nation's millionaires, according to a congressional analysis released Wednesday. | |

$36 Billion per year...and by very inequitable means

$36 Billion per year...and by very inequitable means but, if the theory behind why they give them the tax breaks is accurate, by allowing them the tax breaks they will generate far more than $36 billion to the economy. So someone in this analysis is not including the ROI in their calculation.

| Tell me you are not talking about the tax break for the wealthy.
In this economy, the wealthy will take the tax break and spend it outside of the US, were their money can make more of an impact...for their wallet! The rich are nothing but very savvy when it comes to their money...and how they can make it grow!
If I am wrong, then I will rescind the above statement....

If I am wrong, then I will rescind the above statement.... lets give it to the poor to spend on alcohol and drugs. If we made drug testing mandatory to receive entitlements we wouldn't have to worry about tax breaks

If we made drug testing mandatory to receive entitlements we wouldn't have to worry about tax breaks As if the rich are some how shielded against drug and alcohol addiction. Let's not throw stones unless those with glass houses get cut. As to drug testing...they should start with Wall Street. I am sure the rich and elite brokers there are not adverse to cocaine and herion use....are they?

As to drug testing...they should start with Wall Street. I am sure the rich and elite brokers there are not adverse to cocaine and herion use....are they? If the rich use drugs they buy them with their own money, not taxpayers. Most wall street firms do test. Our company requires a urine test as a condition of employment and has a random testing policy. It's a very common practice in corporate America. Surely it's not too much to ask of individuals we support with our tax dollars. Don't you think?
