to look like they are actually doing something I heard they might slow it down some? they are estimating it may reduce the amout by as much as 20%. the problem with this spill and why it is so devastating is how the oil is coming out. most spills originate on the surface, the oil is already floating on the top of the water. it's easy to coral. this is coming from a mile deep and flowing through multiple layers of currents which disperse it. oil is hanging a many different levels and being moved all around. | |

and I haven't verified this story, but Boyfriend said he heard a snippet about Hairdressors across the nation collecting the hair clippings for making a huge hairball clog....LOL | |

| this morning "Racheal Madow" says way back in 1979 similiar atempts to "2010 Top Kill" were done called Top Hat or Sombrero (?) so there was sorta a precendence for this idea | |
