Teen 'CSI' Fan Nabs Locker Thief

We knew some good had to come from a life of watching bad crime-investigation shows.

....the story at Newfield High School in Selden, N.Y. :

17 year-old Tiana Rapp had lost nearly $200 to a thief who was pilfering students' lockers.

High school authorities were putting the blame on a student,
but something just didn't sit right with the senior, who loves to sit around and watch "CSI."

She and her lockermate decided to take matters into their own hands and --
inspired by the high-tech sleuthing on her beloved forensics show , CSI --
set up a secret surveillance camera in their locker.

Twelve minutes into the tape the adult hall monitor Linda Cubano, 54,
was recorded rifling through Rapp's belongings, looking for more cash.

After taking the tape to the principal,
Cubano was charged with three counts of petty larceny and issued a desk ticket.

by the time I was in 3rd grade, I had seen enough Adult bullshit to know not all of them
should automatically get more respect than they deserved

Mine was about to gouge it's own eye out so I put a piece of tape over it too. For it's own safety and protection.
