. .
OK, I am sorry for that cheesy headline.
But...it's so true....Paul gets another shot as Pee-Wee Herman....
I guess all is forgiven.
I really did love that show...and I was in my 30's...LOL
I always wondered if Kids even "got it" or just liked the flashing colors, coz most of the humour was pretty eclectic and seemed more "adult" oriented.
The Pee-Wee Herman Show – a new show at The Music Box Theater in Los Angeles – will bring the beloved Pee-Wee Herman Show character back for a brief revival!
Paul Reubens will reprise his character of Pee-Wee Herman, with The Pee-wee Herman Show at the Music Box in Hollywood, November 8-19.
The updated Pee-Wee Herman Show will be a “re-imagined” version of the show, with Pee-Wee regulars Miss Yvonne, Mailman Mike, Cowboy Curtis, and Jambi the Genie to join Reubens on the stage.
The HBO special of the Pee-Wee Herman Show holds a special place in my heart, and it’ll be cool to see Pee-Wee on stage again. Reubens originated the character in 1981 in a show at the Groundlings Theatre. Pee-Wee was also seen on the big screen and on the TV show Pee-Wee’s Playhouse.

Did you ever se Pee-Wee's stand op act long before Pee-Wee's Playhouse. It was a little resque and I was urprised when the TV show started. But he has always been funny.

It would be better than most of the stuff on TV right now.
