As Erick Williamson sees it, being naked is liberating, and if passers-by get an eyeful while
he's standing in front of a picture window, that's not his problem.

A Fairfax County judge saw it a little differently Friday, convicting Williamson of indecent exposure
in a case that has raised questions about what's OK when you're in your own home.

Two women said they saw much more of Williamson than they cared to in October,
even though he never left the confines of his home.

He received neither jail time nor a fine but is appealing anyway, saying a larger principle is at stake.


"I think that being tried and found guilty of something like this is outrageous," Williamson said after
he was convicted and sentenced. "I feel like I'm living in a fishbowl."

Williamson testified that he never intended to expose himself and was simply exercising "personal freedom"
as he spent several hours naked in his Springfield home packing up belongings.

Had a guy here that did about the same thing. For a whie he was always in the news. Haven't heard about him for a while. Must be in jail or dead.

Not guilty. Don't look into unknown windows.

I wonder how close she was to his house, perhaps 'trespassing' or 'peeping tom' close...
some reports claim she passed right back his way a second time that morning


some say he may have been a little hungover from the night before and perhaps not thinking at full capacity ??
but even that is not a clear crime


even if she saw a quick peek at something ... really, is it all that shocking and traumatic ?
I couldn't find any claims that he had tried to speak to them or make any sexual gestures.

BTW, some claim she is a police officer's wife


I don't see why a polite little anonymous note wouldn't be a better option for her to feel like she
addressed the issue .... and then see if he was more careful in the future or acted out more

of course she would have to stalk him a bit more for that....LOL

maybe he is a frustrated perv, but this event alone doesn't really prove that....
but all this global gossip could screw up his life for some time ... or scare him straight ?
