I've heard of the benefits of hypothermia in some situations... but that's kinda extreme

but...I just realized something else about your story...what's up with the neighbors
letting their pets freeze?

did your parents freak out over that ?

they keep it flowing for awhile but eventually they freeze up. i used to keep a heater in there that would keep a 8" wide hole open. but they would always short out so i stopped bothering.

ice fishing is pretty cool. depends on the day though. do you use a hut or sit out in the open?

nothing too extreme...I would go up the mountain just a bit and my friends have access to a private lake...
it has alot of trout in it... we would make a few holes about 12" with an auger ...sit out in the open

if the sun is shining here in Colorado, it will keep you pretty warm, but you need to get packed up by 3 pm
