AirTran apologizes for removing Muslim passengers

Better safe than sorry. Sounds like they did the right thing. I've read where they have taken people off plan for a lot less, and they weren't Muslim.

Kind of refreshing really just to read a news story in which nobody was killed.

I'll make a little confession....

I just recently took an airflight, there was a youngish man that seemed middle eastern of sorts to me, he just would not stay in his seat, kept going to the bathroom, standing to stretch and look around...after about the 4th time and with the addition of taking off his outer layer of clothing, I was seriously getting nervous...and angry even...I remember inside my head I was sreaming "motherfucker, sit the hell down" ...seriously... and now I am starting to stare his way, clocking him for even a flinch of his arm.... and cross referencing who he looks at and if they are being too mobile as well... you know, secret signals and dropping off parts inside the restroom ...where finally someone else will assemble 'whatever' destructive device ....

I had to just go zen and stare out the window the rest of the trip, hoping
for love and peace in the world and trying to find it again within myself

They took them off the plane for that conversation ,,,,,,,,,,,, I think I will just be quiet, I have a feeling any contribution I could make would be less then endearing.

oh come on....spice up the board a bit....hehehe

To be honest, if that was the overheard conversation that they were hauled off the plane for, that is pathetic. Freedom of speech unless you look different.

for an extra fee, we could have segregated flights

People were yanked off a plane for no reason other then they looked like someone that others thought should be yanked off a plane. The terrorists won.

We should change our name, from the United States, to the Police State of America.
