Legalization of Marijuana...

I don't know if there is a thread about this..but if not..then this is it!

I am not a partaker..but I really believe that this is not on a par with alcohol or some of the "legalized" drugs that are on the market, and readily available.

I know people who smoke weed, and all they do is get high, stay at home and eat. I also know drinkers, who go out to bars, drink and then get into a 2 ton vehicle and drive.

I worked as a volunteer EMS worker and I have never responded to a vehicular accident due to marijuana intoxication, but have for a shit load of alcohol & medication induced related accidents.

We have legalized some of the most potent painkillers known to man, yet, we still think an herb will destroy us. Why?

absolutely legalize it. tax it like booze and cigarettes, create jobs and cut out the drug cartels. it's a total win

exactly, chronics don't get much done ..even the casual users philosophize about revolutions and utopia
a bit too much which scares the political staus quo .... and too many of the "common folk " partakers
do not have enough taxable income to help support wars and other important economic ventures

from my perspective, they are going to do it legal or not. why not get some positives out of it.

legalize pot and we could actualy afford to invade countries
